I have grown different varieties of peppers, but I do not know any English names for these peppers. I have grown long peppers, short peppers, fat peppers, and round peppers. I have not grown big bell peppers, called Capsicum otherwise.
White chillies are my favorite which are very small and they are so much tasty to use in salad or curd. Chillies are easy to grow, but one condition is have to get more during harvest.
We've grown bell peppers. My dad has grown bell as well as jalapenos. He grew another one that was extremely hot & even for my husband who likes spicy foods, it was a bit too much for him lol
What kind of risks make red peppers more expensive? How are they processed? The peppers I see in the grocery store are not in big plastic buckets, so what happens in between harvest and purchase?
