In a container, add some soil and then toss organic matter (kitchen waste, plant clippings, etc. ), top with soil, and then again add organic matter, and once gain top with soil. Do this until your container will become full. Your compost will be ready in a month.

I will give a try, but most time I believe it is time consuming, but in no time the compost will be ready. I get a lot of kitchen waste from market too on most mondays.
I am assuming to make a 200 litres of drum.
