It's exploding in popularity here! Perfect for urban gardeners with limited space. You see a lot of DIY PVC pipe systems (NFT) for greens like lettuce and spinach, and smaller Kratky or DWC setups for herbs in apartments. The initial cost is a hurdle, but the year-round, pesticide-free harvest is totally worth it.
