  Thunder or lightning
Posted by: ZandraJoi - 01-02-2023, 08:33 AM - Forum: Gardening - Replies (1)

Which do you prefer? I prefer lightning. Lightning, if you don't look outside, you don't even know it's happening Smile I’ve always heard lightning is good for nature. What about thunder? Does thunder help the environment as well? What do you think?

Do you have a green thumb?
I didn't used to have a good green thumb long ago. Then I started getting into holistic, organic practices which being up my alley with my own life, made more sense with how I deal with plants & flowers. I don't use chemicals but rather compost. It seems to do the trick!

Do you go to Farmer’s Markets?
Posted by: ZandraJoi - 01-02-2023, 08:28 AM - Forum: Gardening - Replies (1)

We have a few we’ve visited throughout a summer. Nice to support local. Now, Farmer's Markets what I'm talking about sell fruits & veggies as well as baked goods. It's different from a livestock auction.

I have come up to install some of the newest system for my Tomato plants so they keep fresh and active for daily. I am seeing a lot of dirt falling on the crops so have to wash daily wise. Please give me best advice how to install and run them?

Do you wear an apron for outside?
Posted by: ZandraJoi - 12-26-2022, 08:47 AM - Forum: Gardening - No Replies

https://www.birdsandblooms.com/backyard-...diy-apron/

Some people have big pockets they put stuff in. Others may want an apron such as this to make. I have a bucket I use that I carry around.
Have you made an apron before? Would you use one?

What flowers do you keep outside?
Posted by: ZandraJoi - 12-26-2022, 08:42 AM - Forum: landscape - No Replies

I have easy to care for flowers. Cosmos, moonflowers, marigolds, salvia, bee balm, butterfly bush, lilies, iris, hosta to name a few. We also have acreage so I can always "fit in" some more seeds lol The lilies were here when we moved & are the first ones to pop on up once snow is off them. They are quite hardy so even if we get another freeze, they still make it.

  Diy Hydroponic System
Posted by: shilparamam - 12-25-2022, 09:59 PM - Forum: Hydroponics / Aeroponics - Replies (6)

I had come up to make an Hydroponic system by myself since it looks much easier just like drip irrigation installation and I want to give a try. P.S let me know what are the requirements and how can setup one system easily. I watched on Youtube, but asking once more to decide the setup.

  Daedons DXM85 Review

This is a Rice plants cutting machine which cuts easily in the Rice farms. I am undersanding how much time can be saved using this machine which was brought from Japan. What are your views on it and how can we buy such a big machine?

  Nature lovers
Posted by: ZandraJoi - 12-19-2022, 08:17 AM - Forum: Gardening - Replies (1)

I love nature. I hate being cooped up indoors. I also unplug often throughout the day & just get outside. We are fortunate though as we live on 10 acres of woods. I can always find something of interest out there be it a creature or plant. I have guidebooks I tend to take with me & like to challenge myself in identifying things.
For those who like gardening, do you also spend time in nature as well? Looking at wildflowers, trees, the various creatures that inhabit your area?
