Some plants need low sunlight (only 2-3 hours a day), some plants need a moderate amount of sunlight (4-5 hours a day), and some plants need many hours of sunlight (at least 8 hours)

It does depend on what you are planting. Some thrive in full sun while others can do well with minimal sun. Do you have specific crops you are looking into [USER=133]@Annies[/USER] ?
