Can I use the soil from the farm?

Potting mix is prepared professionally, they contain enough amount of nutrients, in the right portion, for your plants. However, when you use garden soil you will have to add nutrients, and a lot of people do not even know what would be the right proportion of nutrients. I don't mean you should buy but what I mean is when you buy, you get good quality soil.
