Hydroponics is excellent, but let’s take mint as an example. Mint can be grown both in soil and in hydroponics. In hydroponics, it grows cleanly and can be harvested without any dust, which is a big advantage.
However, since mint can be harvested multiple times and grows very easily, I personally feel it is more naturally suited to soil cultivation. While hydroponics offers cleanliness and control, I still prefer growing mint in soil.
