What are your favorite vegetables to harvest/grow?
#4
"My preference is for plants that prefer to be left alone! I'm all about perennials and self-seeders.

Asparagus: A bit of work to establish, but then it comes back every year for 20 years with minimal effort.

Rhubarb: Same deal. It's a beast that just needs dividing every so often.

Cherry Tomatoes: I let a few fall and rot each year, and now I have volunteer plants that pop up every spring without me doing a thing.

Herbs: Oregano, mint, and chives. Once they're in, they're in forever. Sometimes too much so! ?

If a plant needs coddling, staking, or daily attention, it's not for me."

What about the rest of you? What drives your veggie preferences?
