How often do you cut the grass?

It's a job all house owners have to do to maintain a clean property.

How often do you cut your grass? Every week, month, longer?

In my garden unwanted plants are more than the grass and it is tough to remove those shrubs. Grass is an easier plant to remove from garden, but it also helps for our foots if we use in proper area.

I stick to the "one-third rule" – never cut off more than that at once. For me, that usually means mowing every 5-7 days during the peak growing season in spring. It keeps the lawn from getting stressed and looking scalped.

It totally depends on the time of year! In the spring, it's like every 5 days. By the heat of summer, my cool-season grass slows down, and I can stretch it to every 10-14 days. I just mow when it needs it, not by the calendar.
