I know it is very hard to achieve anything, but just want to give a try for few plants.

I understand the need to grow your own. It seems more & more are trying their hand to help cut costs. Plus they will know what goes into their produce.

It would depend on what you would use once you have grown it, or even be able to sell it once you have grown it.
My mum has a small greenhouse and she plants tomatoes, strawberries and cucumbers.

Tip: Use vertical strings or trellises to save space.
