RE: Tomato Grafting clips - shiva - 03-30-2019 I am seeing a lot of grafting clips in online stores, but didnt getting which is the best for tomato plants. I am looking to get support for plants from sticks. Do you think I should spend money for these grafting clips? RE: Tomato Grafting clips - haelpew - 04-01-2019 You need to buy some of the grafting clips as they help in supporting to plants and in their growth. There are two types of grafting clips one reusable and the other is disposable. I would suggest you to buy reusable that will comes for a long duration and money saver too. RE: Tomato Grafting clips - shiva - 03-17-2026 I had the same doubt earlier. Grafting clips are useful only if you are actually doing grafting—they help hold the scion and rootstock together during grafting. Otherwise, they are not needed for regular tomato growing. For supporting plants with sticks or trellis, it’s better to use plant support clips or ties, like ecofynd Plant Support Clips or AgriVision Plant Support Clips, which are designed to hold stems gently without damage. So unless you plan to do grafting, I would suggest don’t spend money on grafting clips—go for simple support clips or ties instead ? |
